More Recipies for Recovery

What better way is there to prepare an after meal than to use a slow cooker, as the last thing you’d want to do after a tiring workout is to then cook a meal for the family.  This week I bring you Crock Pot Beef Stew from cooks.com

CROCK POT BEEF STEW

3 carrots, sliced
3 potatoes, diced
2 lbs. beef, chuck or stew meat, cut in 1 - 1 1/2 inch cubes
2 c. beef broth
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic
1 bay leaf
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp. pepper, to taste
1 tsp. paprika
3 onions quartered
1 stalk celery with tops cut up
Mushrooms, optional

Put all ingredients in crock pot. Stir. Mix well. Cover and cook on low 10-12 hours or 4-5 hours on high.
