Swim Workout 2

As we’re getting closer to Go Time, it is time to start upping the yardage, and stop neglecting the swim. The last few weeks I’ve had big bike weeks, and will probably continue that for the duration of the Tour, this week I need to crack down and focus on the swim.

To help with that, this week I’m going to be doing both Swim Workout 1, and another, we’ll creatively call ‘Swim Workout 2′:

Swim Workout 2

9 X 100 yards
Times are per 100 yd, the goal is to start slow and increase towards the end.

  • 3 x 100 at 3:45
  • 1 x 100 under 3:15
  • 2 x 100 at 4:00
  • 1 x 100 under 3:07
  • 1 x 100 at 4:15
  • 1 x 100 3:00
