Waking up, Without an Alarm
We’ve discussed finding time for workouts and doing morning workouts before. This poses some minor problems however for everyone else in the house. About the second or third time the alarm clock blasts it’s delightful trumpeting to get you out of bed, the other, non early risers in the house will start expressing their love for your new hobby, and your new early rising habit.
Here are some tips and techniques from wiki-how on how to wake-up without an alarm clock. Although, I’d still set an alarm as backup.
- Relax before sleep. Doing some simple stretches, flexing and relaxing each of your muscles, perhaps read a book or meditate some before bed as well.
- Keep distractions to a minimum. Turn the TV off, or set the sleep timer. This will also help reduce power consumption
- Get into a pattern. Go to bed at the same time each night, and get the same number of hours of sleep each night
