Figs Make You Fart

Figs are a great source of dietary fiber, and are often overlooked in dessert dishes.  However, using them in place of other sugary fruits will have all kinds of benefits, including… regularity.  This hasn’t been much a problem since I’ve made a bunch of the other diet changes for triathlon, but having variety is great, and variety is one thing figs do well, as there are over 150 different kinds!
